Dear Family & Friends,
As you may know, my sister Laurie passed away from Cancer in 1999. While she was alive, The Cancer Support Community was an organization that reached out and supported her during her trying time. For the past 18 years, in her memory and to support this great organization for all that they do, my family and I have taken part in their annual STEPS FOR HOPE Walk. A group of my friends and family usually walk with me every year.
I would like to invite you to join us for this great event. You can walk or run the 1 or 3.7 mile course around beautiful Creve Coeur Lake. You can raise money and/or walk in support of this event. If you can’t make it, I would be grateful for your sponsorship of this event by sponsoring me. The date for the event is Saturday, May 14, 2016. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the walk beginning at 10:00 a.m. At the end of the walk they have some “cool” raffles. In fact; my employer (Nestlé Purina PetCare) is donating a basket of Dog Treats for the raffle! Steps for Hope is a day to celebrate survivorship, honor loved ones and support Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis. Walkers choose a 1 or 3.7 mile route, starting at 10am on Saturday, May 14th at the Tremayne Pavilion in Sailboat Cove, through beautiful Creve Coeur Park with rest stops available along the course.
Proceeds from the event stay in the St. Louis area and fund CSC's programs and services, all of which are available free-of-charge to individuals affected by cancer. When you walk in Steps for Hope you help share knowledge, community and hope with those facing cancer in the St. Louis area.
