Welcome back to Team Jason, 2019 edition! We returned in great force in 2018 to mark the 10 year anniversary of Jason's passing. We had such a good turnout that we are upping the anty this year with a fundraising goal of $8,000.
Cancer Support Community, known as the Wellness Community when Jason found comfort and support during his multi-year battle with cancer, continues to fly under the radar as one of St. Louis' best cancer support oganizations. The funds raised during the Steps for Hope walk are a critical component of the organization's ability to support members.
We hope you will join us on Team Jason on Saturday May 4th at 9am for the 2019 walk at Creve Coeur Park.
Please consider an additional donation to CSC via Team Jason. In 2018, you generous support helped us surpass our fundraising goal. For 2019, we have set a Team Jason fundraising goal of $8,000. Rachael and I plan to match donations dollar-for-dollar up to $100. Check out what your donation may provide CSC:
$50 Healing arts class for one member
$100 Five members’ participation in a gentle movement class
$250 A stress management writing workshop
$500 Weekly support group session for people with a diagnosis
$1,000 Monthly Families Connect session for families facing cancer together
STEPS FOR HOPE brings together family, friends, and coworkers to help make a difference in the lives of people facing cancer in our community. Walkers choose a 1 or 3.7 mile route, starting at 10am on Saturday, May 4th in beautiful Creve Coeur Park.
Proceeds from the event stay in the St. Louis area and fund Cancer Support Community's programs, all of which are available at no charge to individuals affected by cancer. When you walk in STEPS FOR HOPE you help share knowledge, community, and hope with individuals and families affected by cancer.
