Our Family is walking in honor and memory of Daryl Williams, who lost his 9 month battle with cancer on November 10th 2025. Cancer took someone incredibly loved from our lives, but it will never take the impact he made on our family or the love we carry for him every day.
Dayl was diagnosed with small bowel cancer, a very rare type of cancer that has had limited reserch and awareness compared to many others. Becasue it is so uncommon, there is still so much that needs to be learned so that families facing this diagnosis in the future have more answers, better treatments, and more hope.
We are walking not only to honor his life, but to fight for a futre where other famiies dont have to experience this same heartbreak.Every step we take is for him, and every donation helps support research, awareness, and hope for a cure.

Join us for Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis' 28th annual Steps for Hope, and inspire others to celebrate hope, honor loved ones and join in community on Saturday, May 2, 2026! This year, we will gather at Creve Coeur Park to take Steps for Hope and extend support and compassion to those impacted by cancer in our community. Walkers and runners choose a 1 or 3.7 mile route at beautiful Creve Coeur Park! Proceeds from the event stay in the St. Louis area and fund Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis' programs, all of which are available at no charge to anyone impacted by cancer.
