Managing Distress in Survivorship – Enhancing
Emotional Wellbeing – Register for ZOOM
Tuesday, November 16 • 6:00 – 7:30PM

Do you know that distress is the most underreported and common side
effect of cancer? Distress can manifest as depression, anxiety, worry, anger,
or fear. Our cancer experience affects the way we think, feel, and act moving
forward in life. We invite people impacted by cancer and their families to
this workshop that discusses the feelings many cancer survivors experience
during and after treatment. Learn how emotions affect our health and how
to recognize when we need support. Facilitator Karen Banks, M. Ed., LPC,
shares personal coping strategies and explains how to find professional
support when needed.
